Developmental Therapy & Special Instruction

Developmental Therapy is provided by a developmentalist or special instructor who works with the caregivers to help their child achieve skills in a typical developmental order. They assist children in the areas of physical skills, cognitive development, communication, social/emotional skills, and adaptive skills. In addition, a DV/SI can help caregivers address difficult behaviors in young children by providing and supporting implementation of positive strategies to address those behaviors.
